Scout Cyclist Activity Badge

Cyclist Badge @ Brooklands Com

When:
Fri 11th Jul (6:00pm - 7:30pm)
Description:
Tour de France is 7th -27th July

Beavers to bring bicycles (or scooters) and helmets. No helmet = no participation.

We will be learning about the importance of wearing a helmet and reflective clothing and lights. We will be learning how to pump up our tyres, check our brakes and that our bikes are in good working condition.

We will be enjoying the brilliant cycle track of Brooklands skate park to nail our cycling skills.

No problem if Beavers are still using stabilisers, but if you are using handles to help teach them to ride then please can you accompany your child as this is a one-to-one method and we won't be able to cater for this while looking after the other Beavers

Adult helpers needed - please bring your own bike and alum keys in case we need any saddle adjustment.
