At the weekend out scout group went to Box Hill and together climbed the equivalent height of Everest. An amazing achievement.
At the weekend, our scout group tackled a huge challenge at Box Hill in Surrey, climbing together until we’d covered the same height as Mount Everest. It was a fantastic team effort and a truly memorable achievement.
Box Hill itself is a well-known summit in the North Downs, rising to 224 metres (735 feet) and famous for its beautiful scenery, rare plants, and butterfly species.
The area is managed by the National Trust and attacts thousands of visitors each year for its hiking trails and panoramic views.
Our group enjoyed the steep ascents, winding paths, and stunning landscapes as we pushed ourselves to reach our goal.
Along the way, we supported each other, learned more about the local wildlife, and finished the day with a real sense of pride in what we’d accomplished. The experience brought us closer together and inspired us to take on new adventures in the future.
