4th Weybridge at County Expedition Challenge
Congratulations to all the Scouts who took part in the EC this weekend. We are all immensely proud of everything you achieved. Time and time again, I witnessed Scouts who were tired, sore (or both), who got up and kept going. Then, on top of the physical challenge, there's an unrelenting need for self organisation and good teamwork, which can be exhausting in itself. Some young people would say "done that, got the badge" and move on - but our amazing Scouts just plan how to do it even better next time. They are all fantastic 👏 👏 👏
Huge thanks to all you parents who supported their menu planning, and particular thanks to those who gave up their weekend to come and help. Andrea, Els and Sue have already been thanked for supporting the central team. I also want to say a special thank you to Simon, for being part of the 4th Weybridge contingent. We wouldn't have been allowed to take four teams without his presence - thank you 😊
